McIntosh Finally Finds Victory Lane in BC39 at IMS
Rookie Drake Earns Initial USAC Win in First Feature of Doubleheader
Relief and joy came in equal measures Sunday night for Cannon McIntosh at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
McIntosh passed pole sitter Chase McDermand on the final lap of the 39-lap feature to win the Driven2SaveLives BC39 presented by Avanti Windows & Doors, a USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Championship race delayed by rain for one day. McIntosh had finished second in the BC39 in 2022, in a preliminary feature race in 2023 and in the prelim feature Thursday night on the quarter-mile dirt oval inside Turn 3 at IMS.
Kale Drake takes home victory in Friday's rescheduled Feature Race
Drake put in a strong performance to bring home the win in the Sunday's rescheduled Friday Feature Race. Kevin Thomas Jr. and Jade Avedisian rounded out the podium.

McDermand, from Springfield, Illinois, led the last 16 laps of the 30-lap preliminary feature for the Driven2SaveLives BC39 presented by Avanti Windows & Doors at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Many of the best short-track drivers in America will compete for one of 24 spots in the feature race of the sixth running of the Driven2SaveLives BC39 presented by Avanti Windows & Doors on Sept. 26-28 at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Fifty-nine cars and drivers are set for the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship event that culminates in 24 cars racing in a 39-lap feature Saturday night at the quarter-mile dirt oval located inside Turn 3 of the famed IMS paved oval. The winner will earn $20,039.
USAC Star Seavey Wants To Fill Career Void with BC39 Victory
Logan Seavey is a must-see generational talent competing on dirt.
He has won almost every major USAC event. The two-time defending Chili Bowl champion has accomplished feats that include winning the 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway in all three divisions in 2023, joining Jack Hewitt in 1998 and Kyle Larson in 2011 as the only drivers to do so.
